Thanks for the pic. I'm not sure I need bigger rims after looking at yours.

Being an avid photographer I can tell you that using a fast shutter speed, which is required for action shots will make the rims look like they are not in motion. This is either one heck of a chop or a great example of how a picture should be taken.

The car looks great with everything, the lowering, the spoiler delete, the exhaust, the fatter wheels.

The stance looks amazing, i'll consider the springs if I know I will have a winter beater

This morning I called my buddy at American Tire and had him order the Eibach Pro Kit. Only $190.00 from them. My last mod for a bit I hope.

Hi wbrownie. I have a few questions for ya. How much did it cost to get the kit installed? I know the back is easy and could be done in a driveway but I am sure they need to compress the coils for the front.

Also, did you get an alignment done afterwards? I had an eibach kit installed in my 1995 Cavalier Z24 (I know, don't laugh) and never needed to get an alignment.

Just trying to figure out the total cost. Having rims, tires and complete body kit on order is making my wife nervous enough.

You could do it on jack stands but it would be a pain.

The shop that does some work on my BMW, Treehouse Racing, did it for me.

Took about 3 hours (note its the first Mustang they've worked on). Whatever your shop charges should be about $200 bucks total...at most.

Alignment should be done just to check things. Lowering will give it more negaitve camber, a good thing. This can't really be adjusted out on the stock struts.

The toe will also come out a bit with the lowering but not enough to make that much of a difference. I did not do an alignment. I'll just watch the tires to make sure they don't wear funny.

Have fun,

Bill

Nice stang, simple and clean. Obviously by the looks of your M3 you know how to modify your cars. Are those LE37's on your M3?

She's only got 150 miles on her but is looking much better IMO.

Installed the Eibach springs, 255/50/17 Fuzions (cheap but only stop gap until more 18 inch rims are available) and JBA axle back exhaust.

Springs feel great. Stifter but still a very nice ride. Lower about an inch to inch and half.

JBA sounds great tool

How do the new sneakers feel compaired to the stock tires?

Your stang looks clean w/ the mods. Gotta' tint those windows though....need something to set the white off. But heck yeah, love your ride!

Of course I have not stuck my head in the wheelwell yet but I assume the front springs need to be compressed in order to swap them out. I would rather do the install myself and save a few hundred bucks for more mods but if they need to be compressed I can't do that part

Yes, you will need a spring compressor.

Drat, I just knew you were gonna say that. Arg, that is gonna put a dent in my body kit funds. Maybe I will do the springs last instead.

When I changed springs in my 325is, I took the whole assembly out and took it to a garage, let them swap the springs with a spring compressor for $20 in about 10 min. Went home and threw the assembly back in.

BTW, Nice Stang and M3! Where was the track pic taken?
