New to Mustangs
Hey everyone. I don't own a Mustang yet, but hopefully when I get back U.S. sometime in May I'll be able to get one. Right now I have a 2011 Civic Si sedan which I'm sure not too many people on this forum like haha. I just paid it off so hopefully I'll get a nice trade in.
Anyway, I really want to get into a rwd sports car and I've always liked Mustangs. Ever since I saw the new 2013s I knew I had to have one and now I'm finally in a position where I can afford one. My goal is to find one for 32k or less which I've already found a few. I just can't make up my mind if I want to get a base GT with track pack or get a Premium GT. It's a rough decision, I really like everything the track pack comes with, but I feel like I'd regret not getting all the electronic features of the premium. I autocross a few times a year in my Civic and I plan to do the same in the Mustang, but it's just for fun. I guess I should just wait to test drive them and see which I like better. The only Mustang I've ever driven is a 97 Cobra and a 2009 Mustang Gt premium so I'm curious how different the 5.0 is. Well I'd like to hear others opinions so let me know if you have any advice.

Well I did it. I bought a 2013 Mustang Gt 6 speed. It's a base, but has a couple of options which are the sync package and rear backup sensors. I think I got an awesome deal on it. After all the rebates it ended up being 27,700. I'm really happy with it. It's so nice having all this power and torque compared to my civic.

I would love to have a newer SI as a daily driver. I had a 99 si right when they came out....it was a pretty cool little car. From there i had a s2000, wrx, sti, and a few other engine swapped civics. It was good times.....but nothing compares to these bad boys! Enjoy your car and Welcome!
