New to the mustang world

Hey guys, I'm Jr. from Shreveport, Louisiana. Been a car nerd since birth but have always owned German or Jap cars. I bought my 2011 Gt 5.0 in February and so far it has been my favorite car. Blaze yellow tri coat, premium, back up cam, heated seats, and hids. Have a lot of custom work done to the car but I have a few questions. I am a noob when it comes to programmers. Waiting on the car to return from the body shop to install a jlt cf intake and an sct tuner. The local "Mod shop" says to order the tuner from Brenspeed with a custom Brenspeed tune. Anyone here have experience with them or thier tunes? I've searched a lot and they have good power gains but the info is pretty vague. Also want to do a ghost cam tune if thats possible. Can you have a 93 tune and a ghost cam tune on the same programmer? if so how do i go about doing that?
Feed back would be greatly appreciated, negative or positive. Just trying to learn the car a bit more, new to american muscle.

Hey man welcome to the site. We would love to see some pics of your ride

As for the tuner thing I recommend you research the 2010+ boards and the 2010 Mod section tons of great info on the tunes there

Thanks man. I tried to upload pics but everytime I tried it said error on page. I think the images are too big. I'm going to upload a few pics when I get it back from the body shop so it will be up to date. They are painting the hood, bumper, and valences today. So hopefully I will have it up and running by next week. I got the trufiber 3" cowl hood so I'm going to have to learn how to drive it all over again. That cowl is so tall!!

Welcome to the forum, thanks for joining!

For these cars, the best two modifications you can do first are an intake and tuner. Who you go with for tunes if up to you, but I would do some research as to who offers the best service and support AFTER the purchase.

We offer free tunes for life and as you are just starting on your 5.0s modding journey, it would be very wise to consider tuning costs, part costs and labor costs in regards to continually upgrading the car.

Again, welcome to the forum and enjoy your stay!

Thanks guys for the welcome and info. Exhaust is still up for debate really. I just have a an off brand muffler swap with 4.5 slant cut tips. Sounds like stock except louder. The car is really being geared towards appearance instead of performance. Only other power mods will be a boss intake manifold and maybe an x pipe. Other than that I just want struts and sways. My stock struts are blown to hell courtesy of west Texas and my drop springs. Car is coming home tomorrow and I'll upload pics.
