New to the mustang source
Hello everyone,
My name is Gary and I'm new to this site. I've had several mustangs over the years and my latest is an 03 GT Convertible, I've done a few mods to her like dual flow masters, k&n cold intake,turbo chip and a few other things my mechanic has done for me to increase my HP,to be totally honest I'm not an engine person, I know enough to understand what he's explaining and not to touch it myself. He's been my mechanic for the past 5-6 yrs and I trust him completely. My baby is ford red, black convertible top with black leather interior.
I recently put in a Pioneer touch screen DVD/Navi deck with Boston Acoustic 800 watt amp. and 4-6x9 Boston Acoustic speakers, this thing is loud as hell and looks great. I have the stock headlamps and tail light for sale if anyone is interested. I replaced them with the black out lamps, both front and back. Right now I have the stock chrome 17" rims and would like to upgrade but just cannot find the perfect one's I'd like. My boys are trying to talk me into all black, but to be honest I think the all black rims on a red car does not look good, its like they just blend in to much with the car. I want a deep dish high gloss chrome with either a little black mixed in or just the chrome and I want them shiny as hell. Any ideas or suggestions would be great. Like I said I currently have the factory 17" but I would not mind going up to an 18" but I don't want to go bigger than that. Right now I have General Exclaim UHP tires and they are in great shape so not sure I wanna get rid of good tires to move up in size and have to to replace the rubber as well.
