Just wanted to introduce myself and ask if there is a way to track production of a new 2011. I ordered a GT premium convertible on 11/2/10 (stick, red candy, saddle interior, comfort package and back-up camera). I've driven nothing everyday but Mustangs since June 8,1973 when I took delivery of my '73 Mach 1. I still have it along with an '88 GT convertible, 2000 GT convertible and my wife's '06 Pony Package V6 (all bought new). I am very active in the antique car hobby ('39 Ford convertible,'54 Studebaker Starliner, '62 Studebaker Lark Daytona convertible and a supercharged '64 Studebaker Avanti). Anyway, I try to save any kind of paperwork, production stickers, etc. for the future when all of these cars become collectible antiques. The salesman called me last evening with an update on my order status which gave the build date of 12/8/10 and also a VIN number. Is there a way to track it?
