New Member, new (new to me) Mustang Owner
Hello, I purchased my first Mustang a week ago and I am loving it!
Short story - I set out to buy a new (used) car and really didn't have a particular make/model in mind. All I knew for sure is that it would NOT be a minivan, SUV or an automatic. Been there and done that. My kids are all grown now and I just wanted a car for me. I spent a couple of days doing homework on line and ended up with 10 cars to go check out. The vary last car on my list was the 2010 Mustang. The next day I headed out early to check out the cars on my list. The first few places were a bust but then I came across a car that I thought was the one. Then upon closer inspection I found out that the frame was not straight. The next dealer I went to was part of a large group of dealers and there were 4 cars on my list there to check out. I met up with the sales guy I had been swapping e-mails with and gave him the rest of my list. He pointed out the Mustang to me, just outside the door, so I told him that we could knock this one out before checking out the others. As I approached the Mustang I told him "that's not the car on my list, the one I was looking at didn't look that nice". Turns out it was the same car but they had put on new wheels, tires, some stripes on the bottom. At that point I thought to myself, wow, that's a nice looking car. Then I drove it and it just spoke to me. I continued to check out the rest of the other cars on my list but I kept coming back to the Mustang. So after several additional test drives, at the end of that day I was the proud owner of a 2010 Mustang (Kona Blue) with a 4.0 V6 and a 5 speed. Now that I've had it for a little over a week I can't believe how much I like this car. It just fits like a glove and it's so fun to drive. It's been a long time since I have looked for any excuse to drive anywhere, it feels really good. I never considered myself a "Mustang" guy so this car took me by surprise. When I was a kid my favorite car was the 1977 Mustang Cobra II, white with blue stripes. Then I saw a little movie called "Smokey and the Bandit" and that changed. I also own a 1977 TA SE that is being slowly restored and not a daily driver.
So here I am, a new Mustang owner looking for guidance and information with my newest love affair.

Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the Mustang family. Nice looking car! Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. Post more pictures when you get a chance.

I didn't catch that. I wasn't paying attention to the date instead I was looking at what was showing around the top of the thread. Thank you for letting me know. I will watch for that for now on lol.
