Hey everybody.
I'm in the Charlotte NC area, picked up a 2008 GT/CS in Performance White last May. Saw it at a dealership that was hosting a Ford only car show on a Saturday, and Monday morning found me wandering back to the dealership wondering...."what am I doing here, I don't need another car"....then driving it home. Love it.
My first car many years ago was a '69 Mach 1 (of course which I shoulda kept), so it's nice to be back in the Mustang family again.

Speaking of family, my son has 3 Mustangs, his Grandfather has 2, so I guess I'm trying to keep up.

I have some mods in mind (one in particular) that I'm not sure about, so I hope to find some answers here, and be helpful in my own turn.

I'll put up a pic or two soon.

Thanks in advance!

The mod I'm trying to work out now is putting a 2010+ steering wheel in my '08, so I can have the audio controls on the steering wheel. Had them on my Fusion and I find I miss them a lot.

I've seen the thread that covers this in the Interior mods section, but I'm still unsure about some of the wiring. I have a ASWC-1 steering wheel control adapter that I pulled from my Fusion when I sold it; wondering if I can use it....and some other things.

Here's the thread about it:

Should be the last post.

Thanks!

Welcome to TMS and back to the Mustang Family. I too had a great old one that I never should have let get away. Red '67 fastback 390ci with all the bells and whistles. Even a celling console, hood vent turn signals, and rear ribs on the deck lid. Been kicking myself ever since. It is really nice to get a newer one to fill the hole. Congrats on a new stang. Love to see some pictures!

Thanks for all the welcomes.
A couple pics as promised:

3 generations of Mustangs here...mines is on the left, my sons is in the middle, and his grandfathers is on the right.

With the new 2014 steering wheel installed:

Cruise control with the new wheel works fine, still trying to sort out the audio controls.
Thanks again!
