New member looking for help

Hello everyone! I'm new to Mustangs and I'm looking for a 1978 King Cobra automatic. Are there any knowlegable folks out there that are versed in this era of Mustangs that I could talk too?

Thanks to all!
Todd

Gents,
My apologies for any confusion I created. I am looking for an automatic car for my friend. His Mom had one in the 70's and now he is in a postion to get her one that's close to the one she had years ago. I'm not sure exactly where these cars are traded and I know you guys probaly know all the spots to find em'--i.e acution sites, specality collectors, and folks that kind of specialize in these rigs.

I'd like to find a 78' KC that's red with T tops and a autiomatic. If I had all my wishes come true, it would be in clean, running shape that needs just a "little" work to make it ready for her to dirve and enjoy. I've seen a few that just got auctioned, so I'm hopeful that there are a few cars out there to look at.

Please let me know if I've answered your questions, if not, let me know and I will answer more.

Thanks for your help!!!!!

Just Throwing Out A few Spitballs. Let Me Stew on It a Bit. Are You Stuck on a Automatic?? How Old is Mom?? Also How Often & How Far Will She Be Driving Around??? Just Local Cruising or Some Road Trips???

Just For The Sake of Conversation Give This Thread a Read and See if You Can See Some Similarities to Your Situation and What Factors May Come into Play After A Lot of Years Pass and You Forget The Manners Of The Old Cars. Anyhoo Just Wanted You to Consider.

i used to own a "78" King Cobra which included the C-4 select shift automatic... I will try my best to address any questions you may have to the best of my ability... In the meantime, I've attached a spec link provided below which may also address some of your questions and concerns as well... In the meantime, welcome aboard...
