New Member Intro

Just signed up for the Mustang Forum. I drive a 2015 GT (50th anniversary appearance package) with 6 speed manual. My first Mustang was a '69 Mach I that I bought when I got out of the Navy. Kept it until Premium Gas was phased out and sold it before I knew that the heads could have been modified to burn the unleaded fuel. I wish I still had it. Anyhow many years later I got the kid through college and out of the house and decided the 2015 Mustang was for me. I am retired now and finished up with the "practical way of life of minivans, suv's, sedans and got what I wanted not what I needed. The wife is OK with that. I like what I see in the forum. Lots of information.

I invested in the rear window louvers to keep the inside temps down (I had that on my 69 Mach I), After market shock tower brace (not Ford OEM which blocks access to the oil dipstick), and a K&N air filter replacement. Yesterday I bought the spare tire kit after the "mobility kit" turned out to be a complete joke (not Funny joke). Right now I like the car the way it is and am still learning about the car's features, quirks, etc. I really do like it as it stands now.
