Was looking for the 2013 GT500 order guide, saw this site listed & thought I'd check it out.
My name is Don, live in Hackettstown, N.J., my ride is a 2011 Shelby GT500. The car was ordered on 17 May 2010, delivered on 3 July 2010, to date - 5705.5 miles.
I baselined the car on 4 March 2011, 481.4 / 476.7 on a Mustang Dyno. Started modding the car on 29 April 2011.
My tuner is JDM Engineering - Freehold N.J., this shop sponsors the NMRA SuperStang class.....Did I mention this car is " 1 of 2 " with this build configuration in MY 2011.......enough BS, some pics.

What do you mean useless? It gives you the numbers. No offense but I think she just screwed up reading the numbers. That doesn't matter though, it's still nice and you got it quick.

Look @ the spreadsheet SVT sent you, it's generic & number driven. The build sheet data letter is VIN specific, more detailed.
My window sticker doesn't list a " perimeter alarm with sensors & wheel locking lug nut kit " ( 141 ).....but the car came with it.
Neither does the SVT spreadsheet..
The build sheet data letter lists it !!!

 

There were more black 500's made than any other color.
Well, what option do you think makes your car 1 of 2?
That's a standard that they all get.
I'm not saying your car isn't 1 of 2, I just don't see what option can make it that by the paperwork you posted.

 

Maybe Carroll Shelby built that one himself.

Have a letter from Ford that says it's " 1 of 2 ". Ford thinks it's " 1 of 2 ", good enough for me.
Have an e-mail from Ford telling me where the other one was sold.

One might wonder why this bothers you so much ?

 

It doesn't bother me, would just like to know what option is making it 1 of 2? Something that's 1 of 2 means nobody wanted that option, but there aren't a lot of options to start with. It just doesn't make sense and I'm just trying to figure it out. You obviously keep good paperwork so I know you wouldn't want a piece of false paperwork along with it. I know I wouldn't.
