New member-69 Mustang Fastback w/ 467cid
Hello,
I just bought a 69 Mustang Fastback with a 540 HP 467cid engine. I'm not new to the hobby, but I'm new to Fords, big blocks, and carbs and look forward to learning about them. In the past, I have built an 89 Camaro IROC w/ 350 TPI to run 12.1's @ 112 and be a daily driver, and a 98 Trans Am w/ just a cam and bolt-on LS1 motor that ran 11's @ ~120 mph and was daily drivable.
My plans for the Mustang are to have a nice weekend cruiser, take it to several car shows a year, and hit Milan and Norwalk to drag it a few times a year. I'm going to get it painted Raven Black this winter and maybe add a 150-200 shot of nitrous.
Here are some pics of the Mustang:

This is what I want it to look like by spring:

I can't wait to roll to the track and run with our stangs. And btw, welcome to the Ford family.
