Hi,
new member from London, UK. I have always loved mustangs, and just got around to buying a 65 convertible "A" code 289 gt. This will be my first Mustang. It will be going through a total professional restoration and is currently en route from Rhode Island. The car will be rangoon red, white ragtop with a red/white pony deluxe interior. At the moment I estimate it will be ready october 13.
Why have I always loved mustangs? I think two impressionable summers cruising with a cousin around New Jersey when I was 14/15 (over 30 years ago) in a 65 convertible, hooked ever since.
Pictures of the restoration will follow, once it arrives in the uk!
