Thank-you we are all middle aged as well we call it for some a mid life crisis around age of 40 I have had 2 then an 05 GT now 07 gt/cs .
Is it hard to drive there with a Mustang if most cars tend to be smaller sized, I'm thinking they may make smaller lanes and such !

No, it's not hard to drive narrow road with Mustang for me. But Mustang's big turning circle makes me nervous when turn small corners, and make U-turn.
Your GT/CS is nice. I've never seen convertible GT/CS.

That's when at the start of your turn crank the wheel and mail it , but be ready to get off the pedal when straight. Lol

Never had much of an issue with the turning circle on mine... I did notice the V6 2010 I had in the US as a rental however had a very short turning circle. So much so that I actually actively noticed it....

Welcome to the site, or should I say, arigato Yuichi san! That's all the japanese I know!

The long turning circle on the pre 05 Mustangs suck. I drove my buddy's 05 v6 and I noticed the difference immediately.

But it can be shortened with the fabulous throttle oversteer of v8 power

I've always like to think my CS has the turning radius of a train. Guess there's a worse turning Mustang out there than mine!

**** I want to go to Japan!

Ford carry the Mustang in Japan then? No such luck here... I'd have to hunt for a dealership, and even then most are private sales

Japan is one of the places I'd like to visit someday. Specially Kioto.

+1! I love anime too, specially old School. I have a small collection of some series like Rah Xephon & Gundam.

No Ford dealer nearby? That sucks.

It's not that a Ford dealer isn't nearby... They're abundant... It's more that the Mustang is NOT a car sold here. All cars come through the gray import, meaning that if I want a new one, I'm going to either have to hunt the local ads for one, seek out a dealer that has those kinds of cars (far and few between), or get one straight from the USA.

Yeah, you're right, sadly. The price is crazy as hell.
I could buy new car at 1997, but can't buy new now.
In 1997, Japan's Ford sold Cobra coupe below 3,750,000yen, but now, they selling Mustang GT performance package coupe at 5,000,000yen.

I think Ford has to make Mustang with global options for overseas enthusiasts, like amber blinkers, fold away mirrors.
Ford made it at SN95 era, but S197 is completely domestic(north America) car.

Welcome. Pretty neat seeing Japanese license plates on a American car. Saw a few GM cars around Yokohama, but no Fords when I visited long ago. Vaguely remember a thread here about S197 Mustangs being sold in Japan early on when the car was first introduced. (Had links to some vehicle importer sites). Yes, the prices were "takasugiru". As far as I can tell, perhaps any that find their way to Australia are converted to RHD. IIRC, someone pointed out the factory S197 mirrors being replaced with those from a TSX.
In any case, nice car and love the color. Any modifications done to it?
