New here
In 1969 I was working at a Ford dealer in Albuquerque, New Mexico before joining the Air Force. I fell in love with the 69 Mach1. While recruiting in California in 1973 I purchased one $2100. White with Red, 428 SCJ 4 speed. I loved that car, I got remarried and the car had to go. I never considered another one. until I saw the 2005 GT. I picked up a V6 premium for a good price. It has been lowered with CAI and Flow Master. I have no idea about anything else at may have been done as it came from an auction. I put new tires on it and drove it from Seattle back to Albuquerque, then I drove it over to between Dallas and Shreveport.
I am very happy with it, I made a deal with a gal that wanted a billet grill in her GT so I will now have the Fog lights and grill for mine.
I will need to be replacing my gauge cluster as the motors are getting weak and I have to warm the car up at times to get them to work properly. I will be looking at installing the Instrument cluster with the other gauges and the My color options, but that is down the road.
I had to replace the SJB two weeks after I bought it, The lights went out in Utah in the middle of the night in a blowing snowstorm, That will induce the pucker fact real quick.
Anyway I am older and a bit slower, a vehicle will now last me years, so I plan to have this at least until I give it to a grandkid

Congrats on finding you way back... Nice '69, those were a great generation of cars. Would have loved to have had one like that! Makes me think back to the couple of legends that I let get away. Anyway, Welcome to TMS and love to see your car when pictures are available...
