Hey ya'll! This is my very first post to the site... found it through Google.

My name is Rebecca, and I just recently traded in my highly modded 2008 Ford F150 pickup for a brand spankin' new 2013 Mustang V6, Grabber Blue

I was a Moderator on F150Forum.com, so I'm familiar with the forum setup...

I'm going to tell you right now, nothing will ever match up to my truck. I had/have a special attachment to it, as it was the very first brand new vehicle I ever purchased on my own at 19 years old. I bought it bone stock, and brought it to what you see below (along with our other truck... yeah, we're a Ford family ). Not only was it big, but it had the ***** to back up it's size







Along with everyone else, gas prices were starting to kill me. Living in SoCal, and having to pay upwards up $4.35/gallon was a mess. I got 12-14mpg in my truck... So I decided that if I was going to have to trade in my baby, I was going to get something I was going to enjoy driving. So I decided to order up a 2013 Mustang I've had it since Wednesday, and I'm already in love. The new tail lights immediately grabbed my attention... had to have it.

Anyhow, here she is I'm here to learn. I knew everything about my truck, inside and out, but know almost nothing about the ins and out of the Mustang. It's a whole different modding game LOL.

Welcome! What part of CA are you in, other than the Southern part, lol. I grew up near Edwards AFB out in the desert.

 

Thank you! I put so much love and time into that truck, that its a real shame I had to let it go... I already have the modding bug for my Stang, but I have to be somewhat conservative, as it's my DD lol

 

Thanks! I know, 'SoCal' is so generalized lol... I'm actually in the I.E. Live in the high desert, but work in Norco/Corona.

 

Not bad, my dad lived in Norco for a while when he was growing up. Drove through there last summer, my uncle lives in Costa Mesa.

 

Honestly, I can't wait to get the hell out of this damned state lol...

 

Haha, I haven't lived in CA since early '97 and don't plan to again. Love to visit my uncle, but that is about it.
