Hello,
I'm Tom and am brand new to the site. It sure does have a lot of useful information..

I've got a 1967 GT Mustang Fastback with a 393w stroker and all the performance goodies, and after spending ridiculous amounts of money on it, I've finally come to my senses and have decided to put the car back to stock and sell the motor and all of the other racing stuff I've done to it. With the money from my motor I'll use it as a down payment for the 06 GT I want to order.

I was wondering if anyone has any pics of their 05's with 35% tint?
Also, what oil do the new ones use? synthetic?
Are the canadian cars going to have less options available than the american cars?
Anything else I should be checking out?

Here's what I want to order

X-Plan

06 GT Premium Coupe
Tungsten Grey Metallic
Dark Chocoal Leather interior
Interior upgrade package
5spd
Standard bullitt rims, unless the optional 18's are bullit style
Active Anti Theft
Shaker 500 system
35% window tint
Some kind of stripes haven't decided yet

So what are the perfermance upgrades that you guys are doing to these things to hop them up?? I'm really not all that up on the new stuff yet...
Computer chip?
Cold Air Intake?
Gears?

Where is a good source for these parts?

Thanks very much for the help
Tom

welcome to the forum Tom.

As far as I know there's no GT options in 2006 that Canadians can't have. This year you couldn't have ordered the spoiler delete option but in 2006 you can, that's all I can think of.

I'd also like to see pictures of your fastback if you have any.

and definitely check out the section for performance mods posted above.
