Hello everyone, I'm Jamie, from Lynchburg VA, and the owner of a 2014 Mustang GT. This so happens to be my first Mustang, and my first domestic car in general. I grew up watching Imports and owning a few of them, last import was a 2003 Mitsubishi Evolution 8. Decent car, , gobs of power but so much a police magnet. I chose the Mustang because of power to weight ratio. The mustang happens to be lighter than the the Dodge, and Chevy in this case. My rule of thumb, you can add power, but you can only take off so much weight. Not to mention the power it has from just bolt ons. but feel free to ask any questions and I'll try to answer them as quickly as i can. I'm a truck driver so I might be on here last at night or early in the morning.

My family has mainly owned gm cars for as long as i can remember. My brother, a Camaro ss, My father, a few camaros, and my other brother, a camaro v6. I've raced a few imports and there are pros and cons about both of them.

 

Congrats on your very first Mustang. Would really enjoy seeing some pics of your "14"GT as well. Meanwhile, welcome to TMS.
