Living near the Heart of New York State (aka Syracuse). I kept running into this forum via Internet searches so decided to join since a lot of my answers were coming from here.
I own a 2005 Satin Silver Mustang V6 named Sway. Only had 12K on her the day I brought her home back in 2009.

A more recent photo (starting to add some appearance/restoration mods/upgrades). She will look a little different in a couple of months.

Nice car. Hope you've got a winter rat too, I'd hate to see rust set in on her. I grew up in Rome, so I know all about what the salt does to cars up there. My first car's manual window mechanism broke, so the window just dropped. No problem--just reached up through the gaping rust hole in the bottom of the door and pushed the window back up! Best of luck with this one, hope it never gets to that shape.

I had two 4-banger Fox bodies which did not far too well so I know of which you speak. I watch for any rusting. Only issue I had was corrosion along the lip of the aluminum hood which I had fixed this summer. That is a known problem with the S197s in general.
