Hi folks name is chris nickname is bullitt
I have had the nickname since 2003 when i had a 01 bullitt mustang (was 17) and no one ever knew my real name and kept asking who is the douchebag in the bullitt mustang that is always doing shenanigans...
So that name has stuck with me ever since.
Im from Cleveland ohio
So anyways i have a 2013 base model gt 6 speed.
Has 16k miles owned it since it has 3200 miles on it.
Never sees winter and only seen ran a few times. I keep it clean i do all my own modifications and work on it
Been wrenching on cars since i was 14.
I worked in the automotive field from 16 till about 2.5 years ago when i decided to do other things in life and get a career that i can retire from ( got tired of working on cars for a living)
So i drive trucks now.
Anyways car has full bmr suspension minus the front control arms.
Has full exhaust
Boss intake setup.
Magnum xl t56 swapped with twin plate clutch
(Mt 82 was junk i was worried about blowing it this year)
Has 3.73 gears
Has track pack knockoffs from AM with 18x10 rear 18x9 fronts.
Fastest car has gone with mt82 was 11.75@120
On et streets.
With street tires 12.4 @115
Im also was told by a friend tom to sign up and get ahold of a ford customer care rep on here Deysha. Which i have sent her a message.
From just talking too 2 different ford dealers not in my area ( didnt wanna call ones by me) to talk about warranty for power train (engine failure) they all told me no go since car has modifications but i know non of my mods could case a cam lobe to get eatin and a follower and lash adjuster to get kicked out and tossed into the head.
Had no idea it happened till i pulled valve cover to see about preping engine for turbo kit (billet opgs and crank gear) so all work has stopped till i see what is possible with ford.
At this time damage is minimal due to no noise or driving issues accured and no lights prior to this... so i was hit with the surprise when i pulled valve cover.
So i was informed by a ford tech in nevada i know this issue just happened within the last drive of 1.5 miles before i lost oil pressure to cylinder 7 and 8 exhaust valves ( issue is on #6 exhaust.)
I documented with pictures and like i said halted work...
