It is red with black interior. It isnt in perfect shap on the outside but its my newest project so its going to be worked on soon, but there was no way I was going to pass up the car for the price it was being sold for.
also I forgot to mention the 18" subwoofer that I put in the trunk, I may remove the sub im not sure If i like the whole having a system in this type of car whats yalls thoughts? i just put it in simply because some one said it was impossible lol so i built me a box that fit good with the hatch and it I turn up the bass i can make it hit hard enough to pop the hatch lol

another thing have yall ever had trouble closing your hatch and sometimes on bumps it pop itself open?

Yea id definitely pull the sub out, and as far as troubleshooting, questions, id jump to the fox body thread and youll find plenty of answers! Skunk 21 seems to know his stuff when it comes to foxbodys! My 90 hatch was hard to shut sometimes but it never popped open when hitting bumps tho

The hatch is probally out of adjusment ( they where not the best fitting from the factory) and yes they close harder with all the doors and windows closed vs windows open due to pressure. mine did this until I played with it now it is better.

My advise if you are not good with this a body shop can do it for cheap it is very easy to also make it worse or get it to far away from the hatch seal and get a leak. then we did all over again once I did my resto, we got it to close with very little effort and it touched the seal but it leaked when we hose tested it. we worked to find the sweet spot so to say.

sampey43 thanks for the kind words.

yea i wasnt really feeling the whole having a sub in a body even tho it is going to be built mainly for show not speed, but Idk it may stay for a little while I kind of like to hear some bass might remove the 18" and do a simple 10" or 8"

I read somewhere that the striker for the hatchs latch is usually a issue something about it breaking, but im not sure what they were taking about that usually broke

yes they are adjustable. they do have a bushing that can wear on the early production '91s ( but this mostly causes a constant rattle not a locking issue)the late production '91s use the newer style striker found on the '92-'93s and they do not interchange
