Hi all! My name is Jeff, and I've officially owned a 2013 GT coupe (DIB, track pack, comfort, electronics, 401a, pedestal spoiler) since 5/18. It was ordered 2/25, VIN 4/16, built 5/5. I've put about 1,200 miles on her already! (the anticipation of waiting for the car was crazy and I can't put the keys down)
This is my first Mustang, but officially it's a secondary vehicle to my 2005 Jeep Wrangler. I love them both dearly!
Before ordering the Stang I considered Chargers, Challengers, and Camaros, but ultimately they were all just too "big," family car-like, or just completely impractical. The Mustang stole my heart in 2011 with the Kona blue 5.0. I lusted after it for about 18 months, even renting a GT from Hertz to make sure it was right. Finances came in line perfectly with the release of the 2013. I ordered the DIB without ever seeing it, and I absolutely LOVE IT!
Anyways, thanks for all the info already provided (I've been lurking for months). This forum seems much more positive and upbeat compared to some others I've been a member on for several months. Hopefully I can get on a pc in the near future and post some pics, fill in my sig, etc.
