This car will be undergoing the first production RTR conversion. I've teamed up with one of the premier RTR conversion centers down in South Florida.

I've promised the guys both at the conversion center and at RTR directly that I wouldn't post up any progress pictures b/c it will be debuted at the Formula Drift event at Palm Beach International Raceway June 1-2, 2012. it will be in the Falken Tires vendor display for all to see. At that time, I'm sure pictures will be EVERYWHERE.

But you can get the idea based off of this prototype render that was done.

 

Looking forward to seeing the real thing!

I'm having BBR in Boca Raton do it. They are the only RTR conversion center in the south east. They came highly recommended by RTR/CDC.

I can't wait for the stuff to get here so they can start the change over.

Last update I got from RTR was it was all packed up on the pallet and awaiting pickup by the freight company. So it should be here any day now.

 

Very exciting, congrats! Can't wait to see real pics. In the meantime, can you tell me what's going on with the lp surround cutouts?

 

I'm not sure exactly. Waiting to see it in person too. LOL
