New 08 Mustang Bullitt owner in NYC

Hi guys and gals!

I'm Steve from NYC... my 08 DHG Bullitt No. 3972 and I live in Flushing, Queens. I belong to the International Mustang Bullitt Owners Club, the Mustang Club of America, and the local Mustang Club (Crossbay Cruisers). Got my Bullitt on May 10th from Dutch's Ford Mercury in Mt. Sterling, KY (great price and only the options I wanted)... met two other Bullitt owners (and IMBOC members) down there for the delivery... and had a great 700 mile road trip home.

I love this car!.... keeping it garaged... and have only few mods in mind. (Have already installed DHG side mirror covers and have a wood dash kit on order... because McQueen's Mustang had a wood dash.) Don't have any mechanical changes planned right now. The way this car drives right now is perfect for my lifestyle.

I've been a fan of Mustangs from a distance until now... and am enjoying going to car shows for the first time as a participant, not just an observer. Some pics of my Bullitt are below.

Ah The bullits are beautiful !!! Ford did such an amazing job on it, even if you dont appreciate the movie bullit.

As for driving in NYC, God Bless ya man.. but to Quote Denis Leary

I'm a new Bullitt owner and new member here as well and I adore my Mustang. I can't imagine driving in New York City...
