It looks awesome. Did you do some driving with the top down? If so how, how was it?

Congrats I am going to be in big trouble when they finally get one at the local dealer here. Where are you from in Missouri, I can't believe Higginsville got a Vert before Machens in Columbia did. Enjoy hopefully I will see you around. B)

That's a beautiful car with the top down but I'm not to crazy about it with the top up. Thats just my opinion, I'm not trying to put your car down. You are lucky ,lucky family.

I am in the KC area. It is raining some today. So the car will be in the garage. I go back to Columbia some for Mizzou games. According to most people on the forum, I guess it is all about dealer allocations. I bought a 96 Gt vert from Machens new. It was nice, but not like this one. I highly recommend Hoflander Ford in Higginsville. Keven Hoflander was great to work with. If anybody wants his number, it is 660-584-2151. Tell him the guy with the 05 Gt vert sent you. But, he said that will probably be the only GT vert he gets for 05. That is amazing.

Adrenalin, you made my decision on what color to get very difficult. I love the sonic blue with white stripes. You car looks great. My only concern was how that would look on a convertible with a black top. Of course, you would not have the white stripes there. Thought I better stay with a color that I could put black or dark charcoal stripes on that will go with the black top. I hope to get stripes on it soon. I have taken notes from your other posts to take with me when I find a place to do it. Thanks!

Do you know of any tires that would fit the 05 with white raised letters? I have searched the net and came up empty. I think it would go with the retro, muscle car theme. What do you think?

I was starting to wonder if you froze yourself like the commercial. Great looking car and I think you should go without the white lettering. I think it would take away from the clean look you got going. But....to each their own. It's your car, my humble opinion.

It was a little cold yesterday. Had the heater cranked up with a jacket on. Still great for Feb. It looks like I probably won't go with the RWL since I can't find them. I just found some pics of a 1970 Mach 1 and it looks great with them. But, if they don't make them, I'm hosed. B)

Cool I will have to keep my eyes open the next time I'm up there. I'm not sure what Machens has done wrong but they had a hard time getting any 05s when they first came out. I guess being the largest volume dealer in the state doesn't get you anywhere with Ford. Great for the small dealerships though. I can't wait to see one in person, again congrats
