My First Mustang!
Kevin from North Carolina here. Been looking at the 2012 with the new V6, and when I was finally ready to buy I found a Kona Blue Premium in-stock at a dealer near home with a deal to good to refuse.
I live in NC and work a lot in New York, so I wil be bringing the car up North in January.
Auto Trans and 3.31 Rear Axle were on top of my list. I will be driving 100 miles a day with a lot around NYC in the beginning. (Have had several manual trans sports cars over the years (S2000, MR2, Fiero, GT6), and will not miss shifting while commuting to work in the AM.)
The original car on the lot was sold before I picked it up, but the manager is standing by our deal, and ordered me a new one with the same options in Sterling Grey, which was my first color choice. Really wanted the Glass Roof, but the monthly payment was already heading North. I just got my VIN number early this week, and hope to have delivery 12/30..

Auto, 3.31 Rear Axle, HID, Appearance Package, and Pony Package
Only options planned early on, are Cold Air Intake, and Borla Cat Back Touring exhaust.
Everyone looks at you a little wierd when they hear it is not a 5.0 But 305HP and 30MPG is what I am talking about!
Can't wait for my new ride, and look forward to talking with you all.

Welcome! Your gonna love the power this lil sixxer has. I had an 02 gt that was far from stock and this feels just as fast if not faster somehow! Happy thanksgiving, lookin forward to pics

Welcome from another 2012 premium V6 member.
Same story here...lot of driving in/around NYC....I did not want a stick. The issue isn't with changing gears.. It's with the heavy left foot workout on the clutch pedal 1,000 per day. In stop n go traffic.
And yeah, I get the "dude you bought a mustang with a V6, wtf"-looks... but 305 hp goes a looong way and I love it.
I picked one from a dealer lot, kona blue + saddle brown combo, it's a beautiful classic match. But ever since I saw a similar California Special in silver with the glass roof, I can't unsee it. It was perfect. Never been a silver paint fan but it's getting to me.
