This is my dad newly arrived from Mexico in 1982, and a few months before I was born in 1983. The first 2 cars he bought in the U.S. were Mustangs! the first one was a 1978 cobra II which lasted him a few weeks... then he got this beauty: a 1967 Mustang coupe!!! B)
doesnt have it anymore, but we have good memories ^_^

 

Thats awesome! Did he ever take any pics with the II in his couple of weeks with it?

 

unforntunately, no

but it was a cobra II with the white/ bright red exterior color. He was planning to drop a bigger engine but it didnt work out.

Hey I had one of those cobras for about 8 hours once......My dad blew the engine racing it while he was showing me how cool and I got sentenced to z28 purgatory the next day.

we traveled all the way up and down the california coast in the '67 stang (from L.A. to S.F. and back), I dont dont remember squat of the trip lol. I was just about 1 yrs old. I would love to be able to remember that trip

too bad theres no pix of the cobra II. i love IIs.

i wish my parents had a stang when i was one years old... all i got pix with at that age is a poopy cadilac cimaron with electrical problems. but still, when ur lil, power windows are both a blessing and a curse. <- me when my hand got stuck
