Brought home car on 31 Dec, stripes/tint on 4 Jan 05. First ice/snow storm of the season 3 Jan 05 :angry:

Didn't do the order thing, the dealer was able to locate one in Arkansas for me and had it trucked up. Odometer was at 64 when I drove off the lot.

The tires are Dunlop M3 snow tires. So far they're doing the job.

I'll do a couple pre pics first, then the stripes.

Last one. Tint is 20% in back, 35% in front.

 

I decided to go with the Silver stripes to be different. I figured everyone would be going white and with the car such a dark blue the silver accents it well. As a bonus he was able to match the silver of the dash almost perfectly.

Are your tint percentages reversed?

 

Tint is generally defined by the amount of light it lets through. 20% lets 20% of the light through, 35% lets 35% through, etc.

Those numbers sound correct.

Diamond Blue is correct. the 20% in back let's in 20% outside light, 35% let's in 35%available light. That's teh legal limit where I live and decided to go with that. Plus, hard to give the thumbs up when you can't be seen!

 

Thanks! I'm looking into some mods, thinking a 3.73 rear end, SCT tune, CAI. That should give me a good edge don't you think? Also the machined wheels will be my winter wheels and I'm looking for some chrome bullitts or maybe Cragar will come out with a S/S what will fit soon. I've got 3 months for the wheels so there's no hurry.
