Mustang ordered!

Been on the site for a few weeks now doing a lot of browsing, finally put in my order. Been watching this car since June.

My order -
2011 Sterling Grey GT Premium
400a - black interior
Brembo Brakes
3.55 gears
GT500 rear valance
GT500 mudflaps

First mods will include window tint, intake, exhaust, sct, and a short shifter. And hope to add some boost by fall 2011.

I'm no stranger to modding/tuning and hope to contribute to an already well versed community.

EDIT****

Finally... PICS!!! (click to see full size)

Installed the barton short shifter, thing is effing amazing!! Then some new parts pending installation. I also have a set of hood struts that are out for powdercoating that should be done in the next week or so.

Parts: Eibach Pro-Kit coils, GT500 splash guards, GT500 diffuser, Weathertech Digital fit floormats, Barton short shifter w/black shift ball

I'm currently waiting delivery on some more suspension parts. UMI on-car adjustable PHB, on-car adjustable LCAs, along with a set of relocation brackets.

Will be ordering some shocks probably end of January or early February. Would like to get my intake, exhaust and tuner ordered in a couple weeks.

Welcome to the forum. Sterling Grey is my favorite color. I'm surprised ford dropped that color for 2012. I guess if i can get a gt or boss i will have to settle for red! Enjoy your new car!

Thanks for the welcome guys... I'll tell ya, this wait is going to be painful!! Only 10 days so far, and it feels like I ordered the car ages ago.

For those of you who ordered a car, how accurate was the 8-10 weeks for delivery? That's what the dealer told me, and I'm wondering if that's the average, or over/under estimation.

Our 2011 V6 Premium was ordered on 10/26, and currently it has a VIN and is scheduled for the build week of 1/10/2011, the last week of 2011 builds. We were told 6-8 weeks when we ordered. On the other hand, I've seen another 2011 Mustang ordered on 10/23 that has been built already and is on its way to be delivered, so you never know.

Leaning towards some whipple boost. Undecided on the 2.3L or 2.9L at this time. Need to decide if I want to go all out, and build the motor, or keep it more streetable.

Will be heading to the dealer next week to cancel my order...

Rivalry dealership was able to locate one with the exact same specs as the one I ordered, and will be able to get it here in a couple weeks. Car hasn't yet arrived at the original destination. Once it does, my local dealer will have it trailered in.

w00t!!! Just shaved off about 4-8 weeks off my wait time.

Congrats!
I ordered my GT/CS in the middle of Oct. and it has a build date of Tues. Dec. 7th. I am counting down the days till it arrives which will probably be the week of Christmas. Almost 10 weeks from time of order.

Do you think they'll give you a hard time about returning your deposit when you cancel the order?

They might try to talk me out of it, as they will have an extra car they will have to unload. But the deposit is 100% refundable.
