Mustang Newbie
Mustang Newbie
OK so I am brand new to the scene
The Mustang will be my first sports car I have a sporty car now 2011 Altima V6 so this will be just a little more power but a lot more fun as I will be getting a V6
I am torn between the manual (have not had a manual in 15 years) and an automatic
Is the manual crap or should I get one?
I am having hard time finding many options on this car and going into winter in NJ will leave me less choices in the next few weeks
I hope to make a deal for a V6 Stang in the next week!
I know jack about mods what do you suggest I do first?
Any advice is appreciated

Welcome! I'm on my 4th manual stang and I've had zero problems trans. wise. I would say get the car first and see how you feel about it as far as what you feel like needs an upgrade and what your overall goal will be for it then see about mods.

I think both transmissions are good. I recommend a test drive of both transmissions. Your heart will decide. I was going to buy an automatic but after my test drive, a manual came home with me. As for mods, like stated above, drive it for a while and see what feels like it should be improved.
