Mustang Monthly magazines

I have been a mustang enthusiast since viewing the '64 1/2 that was introduced at the NY Worlds Fair. Then I bought my '65 Rangoon Red Fastback (with Pony interior, of course) new from the local Ford dealer in California. The Mustang Monthly magazine has been my favorite publication for the last 39 years, as I purchased the FIRST ADDITION when issued February 1978; and I have collected EVERY issue since then. Now the "Mustang Source" is another favorite element of the great Mustang experience!!

Welcome to TMS

Mustang Monthly is still probably my favourite Mustang magazine........but I'm still disappointed they no longer cover anything post '78MY. They changed direction during the big publishing shake up when a number of Magazine titles where closed or merged. I understand they believe the later model years are well catered for in the likes of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords, but I just prefer the writing style and photo layout (not to mention they don't have adverts interrupting articles) of Mustang Monthly.

MM also has a history of great Editors......many of whom are now legends in the world of Mustang

I have decided to downsize, but with less space, would like to see this unique magazine collection find a "new home". Anyone interested? (Together with the 462 issues to-date, I also have a "special index of publisher notes, print errors, etc" and "a 37 year directory of technical articles" contained in the magazines.

Mustang Monthly has gotten much thinner and less features hasn't anyone noticed? Since they merged MM and Modified Mustangs & Fords, MM has gotten thinner every issue and the price has gone up and I contacted them about this and zero response. I thought the magazine would get bigger and feature at least one Restomod or Pro Touring Stang each issue but no, nothing.
