Million dollar Mustang!!!
Million dollar Mustang!!!
I stopped by the nearby Canepa Design shop and museum in Scotts Valley, CA to check out their million dollar Mustang with Dan Gurney racing prominence

Website with details including its selling price of $1,095,000:
http://www.canepacollection.com/deta...d-5421166.html
Among the cream of the crop in company with some serious contenders including a ’74 Carrera RSR and the NHRA record holder ’72 454 Chevelle conv (plus they also have a GULF livery Porsche 917K, a 69 Hemi Charger RT, Ferrari 288GT, Dino GT, original Pantera that is still brand new with under 100 total miles, etc)

Man, if I could just scrounge up a million bucks I could really turn some heads at the Monterey Historic Auto Races in August.

Forum administrator, please move this thread to an appropriate category (historic racing, 69 Mustang, car pics, etc). These are pics I took but this isn't my car (unless I win the lottery).
Thank you.
Thank you.

On that same day I saw Dan Gurney's million dollar Mustang, they had some other cool cars too:
authentic and original 1969 426 Hemi 4-spd Dodge Charger RT with 43K miles priced at $195K

authentic ’64 Shelby Cobra 289 with 9,700 miles priced at $595K & Buddy Baker’s 1969 NASCAR Dodge Daytona Hemi priced at $550K.

There’s no denying the beauty of the Dino GT even though it is not quite a Ferrari and not quite a Fiat.

One of my all time faves – ’85 288 GTO and it only has 1,500 miles!

After that, I stopped by Los Gatos for dinner and saw some pretty cool cars there too:
Nice daily driver 6.6 Trans Am that was the envy of my era high school parking lots.

Bentley Continental GT Speed Edition (as if the base model twin turbo W12 wasn’t fast enough)

Couple black on black – Bentley Continental Supersports Edition & Lotus Exige:

Check out this crop of what’s behind the black Exige in the dealer showroom, a Koenigsegg!!!

Lotus Evora (the practical Lotus with a backseat for the kids)

Aston Martin DBS Volante

Gallardo

Awesome looking Shelby GT350

59 Corvette C1

Triumph TR4 (I took this pic while pumping gas right after a beautiful medium blue TR6 drove by).

chrome bumper early 70s RR Silver Shadow

RR Corniche … or is it? The rims look like they’re from a Bentley with RR center caps placed on them. Could someone have put a RR front end on a Bentley or Bentley rims on a RR or am I a paranoid conspiracy believer?
