I've been lurking here for a couple weeks now, figured it was time to introduce myself.
my name is Mark & I have a 2007 mustang GT that I bought back in July. its a Torch Red Premium coupe with a 5spd. 18" fanblades. its fairly stock. it is lowered with what I think is Eibach springs. the number stamped on the left front seems to be the same number as an eibach # but I bought it that way so I really dont know. it has some sort of Duck tail spoiler of which I have never seen another one before and through my months of research I have yet to find another like it online either. it has an OEM BULLITT grille (fog delete) and I just recently installed some SLP loudmouths. I have a C&L racer CAI and an unknown brand catless X-pipe sitting at home waiting to be installed. but first I need to save up the $ to get a tuner. pretty sure I am going with SCT/BAMA tunes.
I am new to Mustangs perse. this is the first one I have owned but as a kid/teenager I was obsessed with them. I am not new to being a vehicle enthusiast or to car forums. I am also big into S10's and have owned quite a few. I have always wanted to do a V8 S10 but just never quite got around to it. I currently own a 96 S10 ex cab 4.3/5spd 2wd that I have had for 12 years now and dont think I'll ever get rid of it. one day it will have said V8 conversion. I also more recently was into the "JEEP THING". I had a 99 Cherokee and that got me started in 4x4's, then traded it on an 05 wrangler unlimited rubicon which I lifted and had 33's. it was a beast on the trail, but unfortunately it was built by Chrysler and therefore was pretty much a P.O.S. everywhere else. I ended up trading the jeep in on the mustang, because at less than 80k miles it needed a cat conv replaced (under warranty thank goodness), the HVAC plenum box behind the dash replaced (not under warranty, that was fun) and was starting to show signs of needing the trans rebuilt (4th gear was a lil tough and reverse would grind now and then). normally I'd chalk the trans issue up to off road wear and tear but my wife also has an 05 wrangler, NON-rubicon model but with the same trans and hers also had to be rebuilt (under warranty, fortunately) for issues with getting it into reverse.
anywho I think that's about it. if you made it this far, obviously you are a patient individual and also notice my grammar and punctuation are FAR FROM perfect but I like to ramble on and on.
I hope to become as much of an active member on here as I have on my jeep and S10 boards I frequent.
