New to the group. My expertise is computer software, not much in auto mechanics so I hope to learn more by talking here. My wife has a 2006 Mustang 4.0 she loves, so I want to keep it running, and I want to understand it more. Having a few issues I want to learn about and try to do some myself and have a basic working knowledge of what I have to take to a mechanic.

I do have one question, though... Is this a forum I can ask basic repair questions in? Which board if so? Such as about tie rods, ball joints, thermostat housings... that kind of thing for a 2006 Stang?
