I didn't mind driving my '03 to the lot and driving away in the '05.

I sold it so I could free up some funds to buy a new house. It was well worth the sacrifice, but tough to swallow at the time.
When I bought it, I think I made the statement that I would "keep this car forever". I just didn't realize that forever was only 2.5 years. lol

The early Rally Pacs were black,; in late 1965 models and all 1966 they were painted / color coded to the car's interior. Technically, I guess mine should be painted Light Palomino, but the black matches the face plate for the 8-track / AM radio, so I'll leave it alone. Too much trouble (and risk ) to take the tach and clock apart to spray paint them.

I just ran outside in freezing weather. Had my receptionist take a picture. Pardon the dirt. It has been snowing off and on for the past couple of days. Most of it melted late yesterday.
My manual GT with all the trimmings (except red leather). Just reached 1000 miles the other day. First mod was heated seats. Man those are great. Adding horse power would be nice, but being warm is nicer.

My heated seats were bought/installed by the dealer. Funny part is that my dealer had a Ford and a Chevy lot. They wanted to install it at the Chevy lot. Fine by me, it was closer to work. It took all day, since they were learning the new wiring of the 05. The guy said that people came in looking all day long.
I got the basic package (only an on/off switch). But it heats the lower seat and the lumbar area. It cost $399 plus tax. Below is a picture of the switch on the drive side (someone else asked). There is a second one on the passenger seat. The guy wired it so that I have to have the car running and the heat on. That is good for me, so I don't accidentally leave it on when I leave the car.
It has a thermostat and will turn it self down before it gets too hot. It does get real toasty just before it cools down, then it kicks back up without getting too cold.
The seats heat up quicker than the cabin does, usually about 1-2 minutes. Makes it great since I don't have an remote-starter. I just get in and go.
