Thanks for the welcome.

I bought a salvaged 66 and worked on it on and off for 11 years. What you see in the photos is just one step from completion (taken 1 week before the "event"). Color; Amber Glow; 289 bored out to a 302 with duel quads; "Twice Pipes" (duel with glass packs); 17" American Mags; Hurst racing transmission and 4 speed; Traction bars; Cream colored Pony Interior...... It was real sweet. I had but one more thing to do....tint the windows. I dropped it off and was told to pick it up in about 4 hours. When I returned I was in for a real shock. They'd taken it for a joy ride and TOTALED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beyond any chance of repair.

Need I say what my reaction was? AND...... are you sitting down?....... they still wanted to charge me for the tint job (which was beautiful, by the way.)

Hello all, Dave here. This is my 1st Mustang. I have to admit, to me, any Mustang from 72 & on, I don't care for. The Only Mustang I once considered before, was the SVO. But, this new Stang, well it's obvious how I feel now! I love this thing. I just wish the snow would STOP.

Thanks all..........

Like I said....the tint job was awesome.....better than I could have invisioned. It was the sight of the crumpled body with the frame bent a good 6 inches up and to the right in the rear. And yes.....since they finished the tint job they still wanted to charge me for it. If there's any satisfaction...The settlement is what's paying for my new ride, which is supposed to arrive anytime between now and next Tuesday, March 8th.
