I've been waiting for this day since Nov 4th. My husband was on his way to work this evening and saw a car carrier go by on the interstate. He had stopped to get gas and was just getting back in his truck when he spotted it. He jumped on the interstate, went 80 to 90 mph and finally caught up to the prettiest mustang hanging off the back of the carrier. He called me and gave me play by play of where the truck was going. It stopped at another dealership, he pulled in behind it and asked the driver where the mustang was headed. Sure enough it was headed to my dealership. He was a little late for work but it made my day! I called my dealer and let him know the car was on the way. It's funny that I knew before he did. I was there waiting when the truck pulled in. Of course, the bank was closed today, so I have to wait until tomorrow to bring her home, but that didn't stop me for taking her for a quick ride before the dealership closed. It was awesome!!!

Sorry no pictures yet. I''m not very handy with my computer, this site is the only thing I've learned to do on it. Besides it was so dirty, I would be ashmed for anybody to see it. When I get her cleaned up I'll take some pictures and have my husband show me how to post them.

I took a couple of pictures of it on the truck. My husband talked to the driver while he was talking to me on the phone when he saw it at a different dealership. I told him to tell the truck driver that if I were there I would give him a hug. When he saw me taking the pictures at my dealership, he asked if my name was Lori. When I said yes, he said well you owe me a hug. He drove the car off the truck, gave me a hug and handed me the keys. My dealer was walking across the lot with a license plate. I drove it off the lot and could have kept going forever. But the dealership was about to close, so I had to get it back.

That's great Lori! I'm glad your car finally showed up. I will be joining the W/Blue club just as soon as I can sneak out of the hospital. It makes for a great incentive to heal fast though. Congrats and have fun with it.

For you! Congrats!
Brad saw mine coming to town-I intercepted the hauler at the dealer and the rest is history. Even thought I didn't know she was gonna be mine when she rolled off, I knew "she was the one" And the way it worked out......well she was meant to be.
Have fun- and my now standard advice- DRIVE THE SNOT OUT OF IT!

I would go hug every person working at AAI if it would get my car built! I can't wait to join the W/B club Once again, congratulations!

Guy at work said he would get video of me taking pictures of the car coming off the truck and inspecting it when it comes in. Can't wait!
