I Like Christmas

New to the board here.

I wasn't sure if Santa was going to be nice to me this year, so I bought myself a new Mustang Pony Package on the way home from work Friday before Christmas. The wife was quite surprised at the "present".

I've been a GM fan all my life, and have bought nothing but Chevy's until they ****ed me off a few years ago. I told them I'd never buy a GM product again when they screwed me over on some warranty work on my '97 Camaro. They didn't seem to mind, so shortly after that, I traded in my Blazer and bought a new 2003 F-150 (and sent a picture of it in a letter to the President of GM). After 10 years, I finally traded in the Camaro on a Mustang.

I have to say, I love the new Mustang, but it has more squeaks than my 10 year old Camaro (with T-Roof) did. Am I the only one who's getting hit in thier right leg by their keys? and what's with the seats that don't go back to where you had them reclined every time somone gets into the back seat?

Great site you have here.

Cheers,

Welcome !!!
The pony pkg. is the best V6.

I used to be a GM guy. My dad and I quit the habit.
Everyone hits the keys, a lot of cars do that.
You put people in the back?

. My old Mustangs definitley had the squeaks, but this one has been noise free, with the exception of the shifter boot that was self- remedied.

Thanks for all the welcomes.

I don't have a lot of pics of the car yet. It snowed here the other day, (which is rare). We got about 6". Here's a picture from when I went to work...

This one is with my truck...

This is what the Mustang replaced...

Cheers,
Mike

Like Victoria (Langford).
My buddy Dave, just got a screaming yellow pony as well.

I just got the car back from the graphic shop. Got the hood and rear panel flat blacked out like the '69 Boss. Looks awesome.

... yes, I know this post is nothing without pictures

I'll have some up on the weekend, after I get a chance to clean it up nice.

See you around Ed.
