Val - I'm sure everyone would like to see that video of your car rolling off the truck. Try doing a Google search for "free video hosting"...there are lots of sites that you should be able to use. Looking forward to seeing it!
Again - congratulations!! Darn good choice ..

Congrats to you Val! Nice car! I was hoping yours wouldn't be my car's twin, seeing that I live fairly close by (Bethalto), but I got spoiler delete and bullit wheels, so we won't be exact. I'm kinda thinking of the Steeda hood, ducktail, and white LeMans stripes on mine. Are you still thinking about black stripes? Either way, the blue is gorgeous! Oh, right....mine might have to be "Vista Blue", whatever that is. I'm getting worried about whether I'll even get mine as an '05. Dealer told me today that only 18.9% of GTs currently on order will be built as '05s. This doesn't jive with other figures that I've read here on these forums, and I hope it's wrong, but hey, you got yours, and I say congrats to you!

You're a brave man, not having seen the color on the Mustang's skin in person beforehand! Glad you're happy with it.

Did you see the color on an earlier model Mustang before ordering? The pic looks great. Have fun with it!

:banana2:  :w00t:

I had seen the color on a Ranger and a Focus on a dealer's lot before but not a Mustang.

Valerie
p.s. I'm a woman. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Thanks! I hope you get yours soon. You've had a rough time having the Pony Drive deal get cancelled.

My husband took the GT to work today so they could stripe it. Yes, still black! Should get it back tomorrow, I can't wait to see it. I'll definately post pics. I don't think anyone has done black stripes on Sonic Blue yet. Anyone?

John,

I thought of a place to put the video. I was going to use this webspace for all my pictures, but there just wasn't enough space. But it's enough to hold the video (and one pic).

Click here to visit the webpage with the video.

Enjoy!

Husband's definately a keeper, married almost 16 years, still going strong! I guess it helps that we like alot of the same things. We do alot together. We have a mud truck that we race. It's a 1978 Ford F-150, 460 bored 30 over and stroked 4.5" to be 544 cu in, C-6 auto tranny w/reverse manual valve body and wide ratio gear set, 35" boggers, rear end gears are 3.50's. Truck has approx 600 hp and 600 ft. lbs of torque. We built it to race in the altered stock class. Don usually races in that class and I run with the girls in the powderpuff class. We take turns running in Super Stock. Here's a pic:

Nice video Valerie...although that guy is driving your car toooooo fast in reverse! Maybe he's used to driving those things like that but I would have been a little nervous watching that live. Great to hear that engine note too!!

Yeah, my thoughts exactly, I also like how he almost killed it while coming down the ramp. Don was videoing and he said through the camera it looked like he was going to hit that car. It was scary watching someone drive my new baby like that!

The stripes are on now. I had to give up my baby for 2 days, but she's back safe and sound. I'll put more pics on the CarDomain site. Let me know what you think.
