hopefull newb

hows it goin fellas? decided to join up since i may be in the market for a new or used '12 5.0 in the next few months. a lil background on myself, i currently own a '02 ford focus thats pretty heavily modified. have had it since new off the lot and done all the work myself and its the first car ive ever done work to. needless to say, im not gonna be getting rid of it as, well, its my baby. lol. now ive never been a huge mustang fan until i actually drove one on my honeymoon a few months ago. it was an automatic but, it still put a smile on my face. now my wife has always been into the muscle cars but ive always been into the tuner scene. after driving the 5.0, that changed my mind. lol. ive been whoring up youtube listening to exhausts and i gotta say, the borla atak is absolutely amazing!! also been lookin on autotrader at mustangs around the area and if i could purchase one right now.....it'd be this one....http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...r_id=313127318. just gotta get some bills payed off and then....shopping time.so thats just a lil backstory from me. im hoping to learn some things about the mustang from my stay here and hopefully be driving a 5.0 in the next few months!ill post a pic below of my focus....

Welcome! Ford is offering $3K back on 12s right now, I believe, so it might be a good time to buy.

Welcome to TMS! Your better off looking at something new if you're purchasing anytime soon. With the rebates and special financing available you could have a brand new one for the same payment as used.

Its also often easier to get into a new car as opposed to a used one if youre talking about the same price on each b/c theres more long term value in the new one so they expect that youre more likely to make your payment & b/c theyll have more value in a repo, if necessary.

pay your bills off or down and get yourself straight. plenty of mustangs to be had, they aren't going anywhere so need to kill yourself now.

Well whenever we do buy, I'm gonna be using the family plan as my uncle used to work at the Ford plant here building the f150's before they shut it down.
