A lot of people have complained about the hood being hard to close and latch. They tried everything, but I found that on mine, the under hood pad was too wide. I cut 1 1/2 inches off each side, and now the hood closes perfectly. If you are having the same problem, give it a try.

Not sure what car you're talking about. My '06 is easy as pie to get to close, I just drop it and it's closed. Also I swapped out my hood for a Cobra R and got rid of that stupid Aluminum one that wouldn't hold paint, so there's that...

But hey, it seems a universal enough solution, so... thanks!
