Hi From South Carolina
Took the plunge over the last weekend and bought a new Mustang. I have to admit, some of the talk on other forums about problems with manual transmissions have me concerned since that's what I have. It's hard to tell what percentage of owners are having the problems. My build was just last month, so I'm hoping everything stays as good as it is now. I came back to Ford with the purchase of a new '11 Taurus which my wife instantly wrangled away from me. I decided to pull the trigger on a Mustang for me. So far I have been exceptionally happy with the build quality and performance of both cars. (The last Mustang I owned was in 1974!) I have owned F-150's over the years but always went to Nissan or Toyota for my cars. I am hoping that both cars will give us good service. The reasons I looked at Ford this time were their increase in build quality over the years, customer satisfaction, reliability, and the fact that Ford did not take bailout money!

I added some of it to my signature, but I got a GT Premium CS. It's Race Red. Bone stock it is. I have about 250 miles on it so far. The only flaw I could find was some minor scratches on the radio display window. I think those are pretty common. I love how it drives and rides. I had to go out of town to get a decent deal, but it was worth it.
