Hi guys. Just ordered a Shelby GT500 2013 model. I was totally impressed with the specs. Looking forward to driving the car. It will be my 2nd Ford product. My first was a 1983 Ford EXP that I purchased new. That one only lasted 2 years and I had some issues with it. I think there have been some major improvements since then.

The car is Impact Blue with white stripes.

 

Welcome GT500George, and congrats on your order. I had originally ordered the Grabber Blue w/ white stripes, but have since changed my mind and just talked to my dealer yesterday to ask about changing to the DIB as I saw some pics of the new GT500's coming off the line and I really liked that color better. The white stripes really seem to "pop" on the darker blue where as they seem a bit washed out against the lighter blue. Did you get a VIN and/or build date on yours yet? If not, you can PM your order and dealer numbers to Deysha in these forums and she'll be more than happy to track it for you. She rocks!! I'm still waiting on mine. I hope the color change doesn't delay the build too much. When I get confirmation of the color change I'll have to change my signature line!!
