Well I'm really glad to finally find a forum where the V6 Stangs are not talked down upon. I have had my Mustang for bout 4 years and ever since I have bought it. I did get a lot of negative looks becuase its not a 4.6L. But it didn't bother me I just want to turn this Mustang to something different and build it up. Up to this point i have made some significant changes. But since i'm in the military a lot of my time has been from deployment to where i'm at now. Which is in Korea, I miss my mustang sooo much and just can't wait to get my hands back on. Upon my arrival i have additional parts to install which will significally improve its appearance and preformance. I will be asking a lot of questions beucase i must say that i became a mustang lover. Their is a lot that ford needs to do to improve on its creation but just the model and history behind i must say i'm in love. Just wanted to say hello becuase everyone here seems friendly and cool. Hope everybody's day goes good! B)

Welcome!

I went back and forth several times on whether to get a V6 or a GT. When Car and Driver got a V6 from 0-60 in 6.9 seconds, that's when I made up my mind for sure!

I'll spend the the $5000 I saved on something else...

Well welcome to the forum. Yes, we V-6rs love it here. Brad does an awesome job of allowing all of us to have a place to share our thoughts without being put down by the 8 owners (despite their valiant attempts).

Love your car!!!

The 6 is quick, the 6 is quiet, the 6 lets me commute, and my 6 is mucha less money.

What more could you ask for?

Hope to see you around the forum.

There are still a few 6 haters, but they generally keep themselves out of this section of the board!

Welcome, glad you found the time to join us!

howdy! yeah there are some V6 haters, but pay them no mind, whereever they be. a stang is a stang and all that matters is that YOU love it*.

I gotta tell ya Ive owned ALOT of Mustangs. This is the first V6 and Im VERY impressed with it. The $$$ that I saved will go into restoring my '67....Then I'll have an 8 and a 6.....life will be good then!!!
