Believe it or not, most, if not all of my cars and bikes have come from the famous auction site. So far I've not had a bad experience, and met some great people, but I have had to travel up and down he country. If you are prepared to wait, you can get some great deals over here. The big downside, is the cost of fuel over here.

Welcome, Paul. A lot of folks have not traveled in Europe and would be shocked to hear of petrol at the equivalent of about $8 a US gallon or more. When we travel on your side of the pond it is just part of the cost of the trip. Unfortunately for you, you have to live with it.

Whereabouts are you?

 

Our fuel prices have dropped in the last month or so. We are now paying $7.20 a gallon. That's the lowest we've seen in a long time. The wife's Dodge is a diesel, so we do get some economy. I use my Sporties as well, so I'm not running a V8 every day.
I guess the flip side of "NORMAL" people moving to alternative fuel, means more left over for us. Win, win.

 

Welcome to the forum. Glad to see someone else from Europe in here. Having been here for a couple years now I appreciate a low gas price. I still only pay around .73/liter compared to economy prices. Unless I'm in another country and don't get that benefit.
