Hi From Australia

Hi Guy's,

I would just like to say high as a fellow Ford lover from Australia. I don't own a Mustang but have always loved them. I do however have a car build underway. I have imported a Coyote & 6R80 engine and transmission to swap into my 1970 XW Ford Falcon, a muscle car from our late 60's era. It shares the same architecture as the 67-71 Mustang.

I would like to post some images of my build if anyone is interested.

I have joined the forum as a source of information on the Ford Coyote engine so I'm hoping you guy's don't mind me posting and asking stupid question

Regards

Neil

I'd love to see those pics of a Falcon flying with a coyote in it's claws, so to speak.

Thanks, it's only early days of the rebuild but I would be happy to share some pictures. Is there a section where I can start a thread.

Cheers

Thanks for the welcome,

It's not a Mustang but it's a Ford Muscle car just an Australian version you had a 2 door version of it over in the US not sure what you guy's called it though.

I'm not sure where to start a thread if someone could suggest a section I would love to post some pics. The Coyote is mounted in the shell and I must say it looks like it belongs there

Welcome, and by all means post as many pics as you can. It'll be great to see something a little out of the ordinary.

And just like some of your critters down there, your cars also evolved just a little differently...but they share the same DNA so it's all good.

Looking forward to more posts.

Thanks again for your warm welcomes. I have had a quick look through your sub forums and noticed that there is a 64 - 78 Mustang section. This is in the same era so I'm wondering if this is an appropriate place to post a build thread.

Or should I just add some pics in this thread any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi guy's,

There has been a few people that have shown some interest in my Ford XW build so I'd just like to say thanks and let you know that I have started a thread in the 64-78 Mustang section. It's called "It's not a Mustang!!! but it's a Ford

I hope you enjoy watching the build progress

Cheers

Neil
