Thanks! Total random luck to get it. Sitting in a hot tub in Canmore, knowing my friend took great care of the car and so I asked if she was keeping it forever. She said she was actually planning on selling and would love nothing better than to sell to me. (Which turned into deal on price, one last roadtrip to bring it to me, and took my kids back to the coast on the plane so they could see their cousins for a week, lol)

Very nice find on your new to you "06" Windveil Blue GT convertible. Sure looks in very excellent condition, also really like the silver striping with mustang above the rocker panels as well.
Just for future reference, none of the Fox body cars were ever fastback models, they were either notchback or hatchback coupes. Meanwhile, welcome aboard and congrats

Thanks! And interesting on the notchback, never heard of that but yes that sounds right. Here is the only pic I still have of it on my phone. (Had to move tent to a shadier campsite, back in 1998 lol)

Sharp looking '06 GT! Thanks for posting a picture. Welcome to the site! Love to see and hear more...
I was looking at one something like that '81 back when they first moved to the 3rd gen. It was a 1979 hatchback. Needed something that would fit a big old luggy car seat. My '67 drank too much gas. I needed a fuel efficient car for a poor commuting college kid & family. Wish I would have went that route, but instead ended up with a VW rabbit. Fun and cheap to drive, but it was the worst car ever.
