Welcome to the forums. Try looking in the 2005 V6 section for some suggestions. I always tell people to start with a tune > intake > exhaust > gears > etc. But always start with a tune. Look around on "AmericanMuscle.com" They have a lot of good stuff. Also, if you buy a tuning device from them, then you get free tune updates for life. Again, welcome to The Mustang Source!

Tune and CAI will unlease roughly 20 Horses (depends). It improves throttle response as well. Increases torque and sound. Etc etc.

I suggest saving for a supercharger/turbo. Allow you to put out real numbers. But then again, you could just trade in for a V8 with that kind of money

Like he said, "chips" are long gone. Now you just buy a device to change your engine's computer configuration. It can be updated with every mod you make, hence the unlimited tunes for life that I mentioned. Again, look around on "AmericanMuscle.com". The most popular tuning device is probably "SCT" followed by "Diablo". I pretty much agree with "SoFlo". Given your price range, I still stick with my initial recommendations. A tuner/intake combo is probably gonna take up most of your price range, but is the best bang for your buck. A supercharger/turbo is gonna cost you several thousand dollars, but you'd be wise to do some research about them if you're gonna go that route. You do sound kinda new to modding, so I'd just suggest reading a few threads in the forums to figure out what the V6 guys have been up to.

Correct

I suggested americanmuscle.com on your other thread. I suggest you pick one thread, and post on the other *thread closed*

If your wanting just 50- 60 more HP then You might be able to achieve that with a tune, exhaust, headers, CAI

A good supercharger that a friend of mine has on his 2006 V6 is a Procharger w/ intercooler. But you are looking at some serious cash for one of them.

+1^^. Tune, cai, full exhaust, and gears. That should make a considerable difference.

That's also gonna be more than $600 bucks.
Save your money kid and drive it for a while.
Remember, it is a 6+ year old car.
You may need that money for routine maintenance.
