Hi!
I am retired with 3 grandkids so now I'm getting back into my 2nd childhood :-) When I got married, I had my first new car....a '68 Camaro, 327, 3 speed, rally green. My wife had a job and I couldn't get her taught on how to shift gears so-reluctantly- I traded that car fro a '69 Pontiac LeMans automatic.
It's been 44 years since I've had the thrill of muscle and pulling gears so I bought my baby.....a '95 GT with headers, Trickflow manifold, K&N CAI, and a 5 speed. My mechanic thinks it has a cam in it and has been lowered a bit. I put a couple hundred bucks in her for starters to establish a zero baseline (oil& filter, front U-joint, battery, serpentine belt, etc).
I'm afraid I am becoming a Mustang "junkie" because I read about them all the time and now notice them on the road more than ever. I feel like I belong to the "cult" now and really enjoy driving my GT.
I found this site to be very helpful and am learning more each time I visit the forums.
