Hello all .....

It's official, with 2 T-Birds, a Merc GM, two F-150s, and a Forester .... we so badly needed another vehicle .... and seeing as we have been talking about a Mustang since maybe the late '80s but never seriously until a few weeks ago .... we are now proud to own a low miles 2008 Dark Candy Apple Red Mustang GT Deluxe 5 spd car.

We still have the plasti-paper temp tags on it having just brought it home Wednesday .... we spent a hot humid Saturday cleaning, polishing, detailing, and then that evening ..... driving it and coming home under Super Moon.

I had a '73 Mustang Grande back in the '70s, but this is wife's first, I let her drive it the hour home and she has been all smiles since.

Anyway, I'm wanting a real "Hurst" shifter with the white ball and maybe roll control, and she is deciding on whether or not to stripe it and what color, though I think silver metallic stripes are in the lead now.

Congrats on the new car, sounds like heck of a night driving home under that super moon?! Thats the things you always remember... probably would remember if you were driving a new yugo as well! LOL maybe not...LOL

Thank You all ..... even though we've both always been pretty "car nutty like" .... this new deal with the Mustang seems more exciting, perhaps it's partly the car, partly the enthusiasm the "Wife Unit" shows?
