Hello, I'm new here

Hi everyone I just joined a few days ago. Here are a few pictures of my 86 Capri. Hopefully in the next few days I can add pics of my "new" 05 GT.

Win, not so much, but I did scare the hell out of the other guy. That picture is from a local street car series that we went to test at. On that pass the car did a 200 or so foot wheelie (2 feet in the air) and when it sat down spun the tires, crossed the center line, clipped a timing marker, and nearly hit both walls. We have the power to get in the 7's (hopefully) if we can get everything figured out. I have a couple of really cool wheelie pictures I will post if I can get them to load.

Long live the "bubble-back," glad to see you're keepin' one still going.

Seems like most Capris from the 80's are long gone, and the bubble makes it that much more unique.

As long as you didn't get hurt the win is not so important.

Thanks again for the compliments. Here are a few pics from last weekend. We had a small issue with the strut settings on the first pass (wheelie).

Thanks Grabber. I have tried like hell to keep the car stock and "slow" looking. Unfortunately with 4" exhaust/bullet mufflers it doesn't sound very sleeper these days. Between the stock look and the color the magazine guy's have completely ignored it the last few years. Oh well, I built it to race not for magazines.
